Manuela Eisenegger has been Head of Facility Management at Prime Tower since January 2023. After working in marketing within the luxury watch industry, she transitioned to building management. In the interview, she gives us an insight into her daily life, humorously tells us about moments when she would like to turn off the wind on the site and reveals why she considers her current position a dream job.
Manuela Eisenegger, what attracted you to your new role?
The company Bouygues Energies & Services Schweiz AG enjoys an excellent reputation in the industry and is renowned for its high customer orientation, professionalism and employee satisfaction.
Buildings and extraordinary constructions are also one of my private passions; I have always admired the Prime Tower. I believe that my job is a dream job.
What does your work involve?
I am the contact person for the management, users and tenants, as well as for my teams. I try to meet the needs and wishes of tenants in the best possible way, in agreement with the Centre & Mixed-Use Site Management Team of Wincasa. At Prime Tower, a highly complex, smart building, this can only take place by taking into account the specific building and safety features and based on a team that works well together.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
Every day can be completely different. In the morning, I catch up with emails, information and feedback, as we work on site 24/24, 365/365.
Conversations, meetings and visits follow, in addition, daily, there are things to organise and plan. I am often moving around at Prime Tower, looking at the different environments created in the rental spaces and at the technical facilities in the technical rooms. The focal point of my days is the recognition and implementation of wishes and needs with respect to a variety of people.
What do you like most about your job?
Working with our users, our Wincasa partners and our team. The fact of being able to create something great together. We have a wonderful team on site. I love my employees and teammates, and appreciate the commitment and professionalism of each one of them. In order to do a good job, we need to work closely together and communicate effectively – it’s actually quite fun. And the Prime Tower, of course.
And what do you like a bit less? Is there anything you would like to change?
I like challenges and am convinced that, together with my team, we can achieve anything. A fanciful wish: when it’s minus two degrees and snowing outside, it would be great to be able to turn off the wind in the area from time to time.
What special challenges does the Prime Tower Site present?
I believe that the building is a technical marvel. Our engineers must plan ahead over many years and follow the right strategies in order to keep the Prime Tower running smoothly in the long run. Moreover, the Prime Tower has security regulations that require the back office to be manned 24/7, for example. I am so grateful that we can rely on our back office employees at all times – without them, it wouldn’t be possible for the site to operate trouble-free and safely.
What is the most extraordinary thing you have so far experienced at Prime Tower or on the Site?
From time to time I can access the roof to check the ventilation system. The view from up there is simply breathtaking.
